ARCY creates original artwork for public spaces, live events, brands, and private collectors. All artwork is protected by copyright and may only be used according to agreed licensing terms.

This page explains how ARCY’s work may be used.

Ownership

Unless otherwise stated in a written agreement, ARCY retains full copyright and ownership of all original artwork, murals, designs, and live painting performances.

Clients and partners receive a license to use the artwork for approved purposes, but do not own the intellectual property.

Typical License Types

Licensing varies by project and may include:

Display License

The right to display the artwork at a physical location (wall, building, event, installation).

Promotional License

The right to use images of the artwork for marketing, press, social media, or internal promotion.

Commercial License

The right to use the artwork in advertising, packaging, merchandise, or paid media campaigns.

Editorial License

The right for publications, broadcasters, and press outlets to reproduce the artwork for news, features, or reviews.

What Requires Permission

The following always require written approval:

  • Merchandise or product use

  • Advertising campaigns

  • Packaging design

  • NFT or digital asset use

  • Licensing to third parties

  • Reproduction for print or resale

Unauthorized commercial use is prohibited.

Brand & Partner Agreements

For brand collaborations, festivals, and sponsors, licensing terms are defined in the project agreement. This ensures:

  • Proper credit

  • Brand alignment

  • Usage limits

  • Timeframes

  • Geographic scope

Press & Media

Journalists and publications may request permission to use images or video for editorial coverage. Please contact ARCY for access to approved press materials.
