Kansas City Royals: Fan Express Bus Design & Mobile Brand Activation

Event Overview

ARCY collaborated with the Kansas City Royals to design a large-scale, custom digital artwork for the team’s official Fan Express bus, a mobile fan activation used on game days to transport supporters to and from Kauffman Stadium.

The project was developed entirely in studio, with the final design produced and applied as a full vehicle wrap, transforming the bus into a moving visual experience celebrating Royals fandom.

Audience Reach & Visibility

The Fan Express operates on game days throughout the Kansas City area, transporting local fans directly to the stadium and serving as a rolling billboard across multiple neighborhoods.

As a recurring activation, the bus delivers sustained exposure beyond a single event day, reaching:

  • Daily commuters

  • Game-day crowds

  • Stadium arrivals and departures

  • Social and press coverage tied to Royals promotions

The project was unveiled in partnership with Fox Sports Kansas City, further extending its visibility through regional media coverage.

Design & Execution

The artwork was created as a high-impact, photo-driven composition that blends fan energy, team identity, and bold graphic motion across the entire length of the bus.

Designed to be viewed from all angles and at street level, the wrap incorporates large-scale portraiture, dynamic color splashes, and branded typography to ensure clarity, legibility, and emotional impact in real-world conditions.

Once finalized, the design was printed and professionally wrapped, resulting in a seamless, fully integrated vehicle transformation.
